Sarah Hughes spent almost two decades in the fashion industry, in national sales roles travelling both internationally and throughout Australia.  This experience was invaluable in training her design eye, exploring what works, what doesn’t and importantly, what sells.

In 2014 Seasonal Scout was born, after successfully renovating 3 homes in Sydney’s east. In 2016 Sarah commenced her studies at Billy Blue Design School to formalize this flair.

Since then, Sarah has delivered a diversity of interiors projects ranging from the fit-out of Bondi pizzeria Tipica, to the headquarters of leading athleisure label Running Bare. Sarah is currently working on the complete redesign of a burnt-out Redfern terrace – an investment property for a Bellevue Hill family.

She has also collaborated with a range of private clients and their real estate agents to cost-effectively increase property sales by providing styling services while keeping her own unpretentious, liveable signature style.
